I’ve got updates on two very big things. First. I’ve put together a challenge for you. And below that, we gotta do an update on the Lindsay Clancy Trail.
First things first.
You know I spend a ridiculous amount of time telling you to pay attention.
Watch the hands. Listen to the words. Notice what changes. Look for the thing that doesn’t fit.
And, for heaven’s sake, quit believing everything people tell you.
Well.
I’ve decided it’s time to find out if you have actually been listening.
So I’ve been working on something that may be one of the most fun and diabolical things I’ve ever done.
It’s called The Hunt.
There’s $2,500 on the line.
There will be clues.
You’ll need to figure out what matters, what doesn’t, and when something I’m telling you something that may not be entirely true.
I mean, come on. You didn’t really think the body language lady was going to make this easy, did you?
Here’s what I will tell you:
It starts September 1. That’s today.
And if you want a shot at the $2,500, you’ll need to register.
Everything you need to know is waiting for you here:

But before you click…
Remember these three words.
Observe. Verify. Strategize.
You’re going to need them.
You won’t see me, but I’ll see you out there.
P.S. I’d start paying closer attention to what I post from here on out. Just sayin’.
Ok now on to the Lindsay Clancy Trial.
I went viral on social media in August with analysis of Lindsay’s husband Patrick. I didn’t know anything about the trial until so many people tagged me. They wanted to know why he didn’t he have the same story as the first responders about what happened immediately after he came home and found his kids dead and his wife paralyzed. And why did his emotions during his descriptions of the kids seem so manufactured? I did a lot of videos this month that you can see on my social media.
Here’s the most interesting clip:
Here’s what I notice:
There’s a lot of heavy breathing as he describes the kids. Sure he’s stressed. But this seems like too much. And his facial expressions don’t match the amount of stress the breathing would indicate.
He’s not being helped by the gain on the microphone being turned up so high. That’s why we can hear so much.
But when the subject changes and he talks about the birthday party it all goes away. In the flip of a switch he’s ok.
That’s not how emotions work. They take time to dissipate. And so do the physiological markers that go with them.
My take on this is highly performative. He didn’t lie about anything he said. But the emotions around it seem to be falsified.
That’s what caused people to feel funny about this guy’s testimony and question if he did it.
But why? He was just a witness, it wasn’t his trial. It just doesn’t make sense.
Will this be over with the verdict on his wife? Time will tell.
