Body Language Cues-Attraction
The dating scene is tough these days. With the rise in popularity of Internet dating and people who just don’t have the confidence to say what they really mean, the ability to read body language cues is more and more important. Become your own body language expert and you’ll save yourself anguish and doubt!
So how do you know if someone is attracted to you? How do you know if they’re not? Their body language will say it all. Look for these body language cues and you’ll know what they may be afraid to say.
Signs of Attraction:
Touching your arm or knee (even briefly)-This can include even casual bumps. If they touch you, they’re into you!
Extending an arm or leg in your direction-this is a sign that they’re open and want to be closer to you
Holding a gaze just a little longer (but not too long)-If you’re good lookin’ they’re not going to be able to help themselves!
Leaning forward-Everyone leans forward when they’re interested. Guys, be careful with this one it can come off as overly aggressive. Use a mini lean.
Crossing legs toward you-legs can be the most telling indicator of interest. We tend to point our feet at those we like.
Feet pointed toward you (not pointing toward the door)-it’s the same as legs crossing towards you.
Slight pupil dilation- Our eyes dilate when we see things we like
Slight swell in the bottom lip- It’s hard to see so look close!
Rosy cheeks-This are easiest to see in light haired, fair skinned people.
Looks for these body language cues and you’ll see them (on a good date). If you want to let someone know you’re attracted, just incorporate a few of them. But you’ve got to be sly and natural about it. If you’re trying too hard it will show. Good luck!
Hi – I think I know the answer to this one, however, I have never seen this one mentioned anywhere online, when searching for ‘Signs a Male Co-worker Likes You’. I work for the CEO, and every time I walk into his office and the CFO is there, normally with his back against the door, instead of the CFO turning around to see who it is, he will lean his head backwards to look at me. WTF??? Would love your take on that one! Thanks
Hi! This is for sure a more casual way to see who’s coming in. I don’t have any research that would support this being flirty but just friend to friend it certainly seems so!
